DESCRIPTION:Join us for a meaningful volunteer opportunity at our netWORK event in collaboration with Manna Northampton\, taking place at St. John's church on Wednesday\, December 9\, 2026.\n\n\n\nChoose a time slot at registration:\n\n\n\n8:30am-11:00am This shift is for anyone who wants to be hands on in the kitchen helping prep the meal for the day. We do a lot of chopping and dicing so basic knife skills are recommended.\n\n\n\n11:00am-1:30pm This shift is for anyone that wants to help serve and interact with our community guests. Light cleanup may also be involved.\n\n\n\n12pm-2:30pm This is our utility clean up shift/get ready for the next day. This shift is for anyone who likes helping clean dishes\, sweeping and mopping or just assisting with tasks to prepare for the next day.\n\n\n\nVolunteer Guidelines\n\nTo ensure a safe and productive environment\, volunteers should wear long hair pulled back and closed-toe shoes. Clothing should cover most of the body to prevent burns\, and please wear items you don't mind getting dirty.\n\n\n\nImpact and Contact\n\nBy volunteering\, you are helping to provide free\, healthy meals to our community's most vulnerable members.
