Event Description:
Join us for our November ARRIVE@5 at 33 Hawley Street, a vibrant cultural hub in downtown Northampton where creativity, collaboration, and community come together.
More than a building, 33 Hawley is home to a unique ecosystem of nonprofit arts organizations, artists, educators, businesses, and community members working together to strengthen the cultural life of Northampton and the region.
Owned and permanently preserved for community arts use by the Northampton Community Arts Trust (NCAT), the approximately 25,000-square-foot facility offers an extraordinary variety of spaces for creative expression and community connection. From a spacious performance and event hall to intimate studios, galleries, classrooms, rehearsal spaces, and media production facilities, 33 Hawley provides opportunities for performances, exhibitions, workshops, meetings, celebrations, and unexpected collaborations. Many of these versatile spaces are also available to rent for private and public events, including business meetings, conferences, receptions, celebrations, performances, and community gatherings.
At the heart of this ecosystem are three independent nonprofit Building Partners:
- Northampton Center for the Arts (NCFA), supporting arts education, performance, and creative engagement.
- Available Potential Enterprises (A.P.E.), fostering contemporary artistic experimentation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Northampton Open Media (NOM), expanding access to media production, storytelling, and community expression.
Together, these organizations bring distinct missions, expertise, and creative energy to a shared cultural home. Their work, supported by the Arts Trust’s long-term stewardship of the property, demonstrates how shared resources and partnerships can sustain a thriving arts ecosystem.
We invite you to come explore the spaces, meet the people, and imagine the possibilities. Could your business host a meeting, reception, or special event here? Could your organization rent a space for a public program, private celebration, workshop, or community gathering? Perhaps you could sponsor a performance, collaborate with local artists, or partner on a creative initiative that brings new people and ideas together.
Whether you are discovering 33 Hawley for the first time or already know the building, we hope you'll leave with new connections, fresh ideas, and a sense of how you, your business, or your organization can become part of this growing creative community.
Join us for an evening of networking, exploration, and possibility, and discover what we can create together at 33 Hawley.
