The Statue of Liberty Story
An inspiring presentation about building stronger communities through volunteerism and philanthropy in America.  It’s a message for today and for the generations to come. You’re sure to remember the story and the important principles it conveys.

Alan T. Popp
Alan Popp is the CEO of Colony Care at Home, a premier private duty home care company.
Colony Care at Home provides personal care aides, homemakers and companions to seniors and families—serving Western Massachusetts and Central Connecticut from offices in West Springfield and South Windsor.
Alan has also headed an assisted living senior community, a boarding school and a residential treatment center. He will be the first to tell you that the primary relationship among his diverse careers is that all have helped people achieve the highest level of independence possible.
Previously  a consultant to more than 200 non-profit boards and a lifetime volunteer, Alan presently serves on the board of directors of LeadingAge Massachusetts, a state-wide association service providers to seniors, the Springfield Chamber, the Regional Employment Board of Hampden County and the Salvation Army.
Alan is a native of Pittsburgh and a thirty year resident of New Hampshire.  He was drawn to the area  to be closer to his granddaughters; and now resides in Storrs with his wife, along with their cat and Thoroughbred rescue horse.
